David W. Gibson, MD, MPH
Joining the AMAS staff in 2019 with over 24 years of experience as a US Naval Flight Surgeon, and 20 years practicing Aerospace Medicine, Dr. Gibson is a graduate of the University of Miami and the University of Miami School of Medicine. He is board certified in Aerospace Medicine with a Masters of Public Health degree earned at the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health in Baltimore, Maryland. During his 26 years on active duty in the US Navy, he served as the Senior Medical Officer aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65), among many other assignments, and accumulated over 900 flight hours in twenty-two different Navy, Marine, Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard aircraft.
