Charles S. Tedder, MD, MPH, CPE

Joining the AMAS Staff in 2020 with 30 years of experience as a U.S. Air Force Flight Surgeon and 18 years as an Aerospace Medicine specialist, Dr. Tedder is a graduate of the University of Kansas and the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine. He is board certified in Aerospace Medicine and Occupational Medicine with a Masters of Public Health degree earned at the University of Texas. During his 30 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, he served as a squadron level Flight Surgeon, Chief of Aerospace Medicine, squadron and group commander, and as the Command Surgeon for Third Air Force in Europe and for Air Force Central Command. He has accumulated more than 1200 flight hours in numerous Air Force, Army and Navy aircraft.
