Richard J. Montminy, MD, MPH, DMP, MRO
Joining the AMAS staff in 2017 with over 26 years experience as a United States Air Force line officer then flight surgeon and nearly 30 years practicing aerospace medicine, Dr. Montminy is a graduate of Assumption College and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine. He received his Masters in Public Health from the University Of Texas School Of Public Health, San Antonio, Texas. He is an aerospace medicine residency-trained, board certified specialist in both aerospace and preventive medicine, and board eligible in occupational medicine. He is also a NOAA-certified commercial dive medicine physician. He has practiced as an FAA senior aviation medical examiner and has extensive experience in hypobaric and hyperbaric medicine, accident investigation, global and travel medicine, and is a certified medical review officer.
